Join Mimi at Erie Community Library for Positive Play, a workshop for kids and families to strengthen their skills in interpersonal communication, consent, autonomy, and positive physical interactions. Positive Play uses physical games, acrobatics, partnering, theater games, and music to learn through fun. This arts-based public health program will help kids strengthen interpersonal communication skills for safe, empathetic, and respectful physical interactions.

This program is geared for kids in early elementary, their caregivers, and siblings. Register and learn more HERE

New Voices: Shifting Perspective Through Creative Writing
Sunday, February 22nd 3:15pm-4:15pm
Join Dandelion Arts Collective for a unique creative writing workshop where students will explore iconic stories through the experience of another character in the story, like the novel James by Percival Everett which reframes the story of Huckleberry Finn through the perspective of Jim instead of Huck. Practice writing in different perspectives through song-writing, poetry, spoken word, writing and journaling. This program is geared to teens 13-18 years old.
